Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Advanced Studies (JNIAS) has been established by Dr. D.Swaminadhan Research Foundation (DSRF) as an Institute of Excellence in advanced studies and research with a view to contribute to the effort of ushering India to be in the forefront in advanced technologies and build ‘core competence’ in specific areas.
